- SPECIFIC TASKS. The Social Worker shall be responsible for and apply social work procedures and techniques in the evaluation and treatment of psychological/psychiatric disorders. Activities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Responsible for and provide individual, family and group psychotherapy, and couples therapy.
- Consult to medical personnel, legal authorities, military commanders and school districts, as required.
- Maintain accurate and current notes in both the Department of Psychology records and patient medical records of all patients seen, as appropriate, and produce reports of evaluation and/or treatment, as required.
- Child, Adolescent and Family Social Work Services.

- The social worker is required to hold a Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) degree from an accredited graduate school of social work. Additionally, the Social Worker shall:
- Have and maintain a current, unrestricted license to practice social work in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
- Have a minimum of two (2) years within the past five (5) years in the independent practice of clinical social work in child, adolescent and family therapy, preferably in a Government setting such a DOD or Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) MTF. Preference will be given to a social worker having completed a fellowship in child and family therapy.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of professional standards and ethics regarding the delivery of clinical social work services.
