| 1. The Physician Assistant shall perform and provide medical examination and treatment as required by the MTF, Chief, Department of Primary Care and Community Medicine
(DPCCM), or Counterpart, at each location. The Physician Assistant shall perform the services, which a military Physician Assistant with similar training and experience would be called upon to
perform while in a similar duty assignment. The Physician Assistant shall be responsible for a regularly appointed clinic, compatible with workload and, in addition, provide immediate evaluation and
management of emergent problems as they occur. 2. Collect and record, in proper format, medical and social historical data appropriate to the patient's condition. 3. Perform a general physician
examination. Record the findings in proper format and determine medical qualification for various purposes. 4. Plan and initiate proper treatment within the PA's defined privileges and the scope of
practice of the facility. 5. Identify and report those situations and individual cases which have public health significance and carry out effective control measures. |

| 1. Be a graduate Physician Assistant qualified by academic and practical education to provide patient services as a physician extender under supervision of a physician.
2. Be a graduate of a Physician Assistant Training Program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA), or its predecessors, and acceptable to
the Surgeon General, USAF, is mandatory. 3. Certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Committee on Certification Physician Assistants (NCCPA) is required. 4. Have at least 24 months of
experience within the last 36 months. |
