The duties for this Full-Time position include but are not limited to the following:
The quality of Emergency Services Physician service shall meet or exceed reasonable community standards of professional practice for the health care concerned as determined by the authority that governs military medical professionals in the same discipline.
Be capable of performing the full range of emergency medicine services to include the ability and experience to adequately diagnose and treat diseases and injuries.
Examine patient, render a medical assessment of their condition, and take appropriate action.
Provide immediate evaluation and management of emergency patients.
Qualifications
Be a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Osteopathy (D.O.).
Successfully completed an internship and residency in an accredited U.S. Training program ACGME approved residency and be board certified in their respective. specialty.
Each health care provider shall have and maintain an active, valid unrestricted, current medical license (with no limitations, stipulations or pending adverse actions) in a US jurisdiction. License must correspond to DEA registration number. All licenses must be unencumbered and remain in effect during contract employment.
The health care provider must have graduated from an approved medical school, completed a residency or fellowship acceptable to the US Air Force Surgeon General, and eligible for board certification.
Degree: Doctor of medicine or doctor of osteopathy from a school in the US or Canada approved by a recognized accrediting body in the year of the applicant's graduation.
Unless otherwise stated in the individual Task Order, the Physician shall have 24 months of experience within the last 36 months. Experience shall be in the same clinical specialty.
